It is pretty common for relationships to end during the holiday's.. People are forced to spend "happy" time together, and therefor realise they are unhappy and don't love eachother anymore. Also prevents it cheaters to be together, so a text is easily send and easier read by the so..

My ex gf broke up with me between christmas and new year as well. Not this year though. Seems like this is a popular time to break up.

Most of 'em are likely copy-pastes from Twitter and whatnot... However, statistically, new year is when most of the break-ups take place. Thus, these things floating around more than usual, and since this is the garbage site where every thing is copied a thousand times over... well, that's the "flood of breakups" ... most of it, anyway.

I made a post about my situation. It's real, not made up. This situation is really depressing. My wife is packing all her things up right now while I'm writing this.

It’s not really the way it looks. People are just more prone to post stuff if they go through struggles rather than when they’re happy. Especially on ’s relationship section.

Because they feel like this is family and there will be sympathy and that people care. I personally revel in telling folks my opinion but sometimes its good to take the high road and just, I know it hurts, be nice. I at the thought but we all need sometimes a bit of love even if its from the proverbial heavens. Retch.
