Ah, the old good skeuomorphism - replicating shortcomings of old technology in new tech that doesn't have those flaws in the first place.

It's "bokeh" not "bouquet"
03/10/22

Real world effects are unnecessarily brought into animation all the time. Lens flare, motion blur, chromatic aberration, all the shit things I immediately turn off in any game that allows me. Some of it expresses something, especially in actually directed animations, but that's mostly because cinema trained us to react to it in a certain way. Like how low fps is cinematic.
03/10/22
Damn, this is beyond cool.
03/10/22
Can you teach me more? I'm willing to learn.
03/10/22

03/10/22
And then you have this huge poaching from John Lassiter all those skilled artists have left Pixar. That’s why you can tell when and where with the movies and their quality. Pixar is going down the drain.
03/10/22
That was back at a time when they cared about that. Now animators get overworked to produce 10 Marvel films a year and ofc quality has dropped harder than Russian rubles.
03/10/22
came here for racism, not for learning!
03/10/22
and it sucks.
