story is nice, specially the little bits on story from side quests. combat is meh. level is the best weapon and armor in the game, when you outlevel enemies, its easy mode even on very hard, when you are outleveled by enemies its impossible to win combat coz you die in 3 hits (very hard) and your damage is nerfed, you have to go sneaky sneaky.

Then you've simply not played a lot of great games. The game is by no means "bad" - it had a rocky launch for sure, but beneath all the grime, there always was a lot of "good". Overall, it's an okay game that looks quite nice. But to call it "one of the best" is an insult to games that far exceed it *without* having to lean so hard into the graphics, art style and atmosphere to carry them.

Damn right choomba. It's been a weird trip but things are gettin' better all the while. How 'bout that new wardrobe system they made good on finally. I'm just glad to be able to wear glam gear and no visible hat that messes up my hair. Gotta look good while poppin' headshots.

My favourite part about Cyberpunk 2077 is how CDPR got away with lying on so many things

I went into the game without expectations when it was released and I had a great time, so I have to agree

Friend of mine had been following it for years and was tremendously disappointed. I didn't care at all, I never watch trailers or sneak peaks before getting into games so I had 0 expectations. I must say I wasn't impressed either. I played it 6 months after release, not that should excuse a full released title like this but maybe somethings have changed. - Didn't like the linear character progression. Your decisions have 0 impact on the story from what I saw. The beginning story you chose also had no effect. It would have been much better to go with no voiced dialogue for the MC but given them more options so you can actually role-playing as whoever you wanted. - Your best friend guy, who obviously was going to die for cheap character development, was given little investment. It really came off thay they cut the content of many missions with him and put a montages of events to compensate. - Glitches everywhere. [Cont]

Agreed! I absolutely love it! I hope they release a version fully compatible with VR. (The mod is okay, but doesn't is a little buggy and doesn't allow controllers yet).

Yea it is great. I can tell just by how often I played it and how quickly I finished everything in it. Which doesn't usually happen e.g. I finished Horizon ZD, but I sometimes didn't touch it for weeks or God of War that I still am playing after a few months. Nothing got me as hooked as Cyberpunk. The climate, the music, the story, characters, it is one hella game to experience.
