If Russia, how does that make any sense? Why would they blow up their own infrastructure instead of shutting off the supply on their end under some other pretense? Wouldn't be the first or last. Serious question. Who does this benefit, except Ukraine? Russia loses income and infrastructure. West loses gas supplies they contracted for. Ukraine gets a increasingly poorer enemy. What am I missing?

It was China who sabotaged the Nord Stream gas pipe. Europe will blame Russia. Russia will blame Europe and this will only heighten the conflict and fuel the war, just like China wants.
We have reached peak gaslighting. The media trying to convince us that the Russian equivalent of the SBS carried out a risky sabotage mission on its own revenue source, instead of Russia just turning the OFF valve.
