My civics teacher walked around during a test, looked down on my paper, pointed at one of the questions, looked me in the eyes and shook is head, then just walked away. I mean, i know you were trying to help dude but come one, i really thought that was the answer you were looking for!

I was a teacher and to be fair... I did this because it's kind of fair to others. I usually did this to kids who were like A/B students, B/C students and this hint might help them get a better grade overall. Or I saw someone's test and as I walked away I announced to everyone "Question 9 are actually two questions in one, don't forget about that" (dunno, like "What countries were parts of the Axis during WWII and who were their leaders?"). They usually realised it was about them, but it also helped some others and it always made me happy when two or three other students just had that "Aaaa" or "Fuck!" expression and started writing in the area of that question. It's the only way you can help out someone.
