If you do or don't in either case I hope your okay. Losing it can lead to many doors opening, but also many doors closing l, and it is the closing of those doors that can be very traumatic. But you are also starting to see how much of the "Holy Book," really was written by people.
My suggestion is watch TheraminTrees, Prophet of Zod,or any person that goes over Toxic, Abusive, Cultish Harmful practices, behaviors and patterns, just to help prepare you.
I am an Atheist, and do believe in removing religion from the world, but that is only because I see it as a tool of the real threat, Toxic, Cultish, Harmful, Abusive practices and relationship, narcissist use it.
I would much rather you be a happy, healthy Christian than an unhappy and primed for the Abusers on this side of the fence.
Religious folk aren't the enemy, neither is the atheist, it's the Abusive practices and the costumes it wears.
But remember that there is still hope, with or without God.
