Ok so here is a theory:
These conscripts are not even meant as a fighting force by the Russian government and militairy, but more as a way to fill the annexed regions with Russian (soldiers). Ukraine is pushing hard towards these areas and pretty soon will commence heavy strikes there.
These men wont survive this - evryone knows this, even the Kremlin. So is this a way to create "unacceptable mass casualties of Russians on "Russian soil" to pave the way for the deployment of tactical nuclair strikes, chemical warfare?
Plus so far we have seen only volunteers from Rural regions, Wagner mercenaries, drafted pro Russians inside of Ukraine and Khardikovs forces. Somewhere I believe that the true bulk of the Russian military hasent been deployed (personell wise) The heavy losses of material and vehicles are catastrophic though.
"Fighting" LOL ... bleeding and dying fits more proper i think ...
they should shoot their officer, like the other russians already did, and then drive back home with the guns ...
im sure no one will get you out of your home if you wait with an AK-47 behind the door ... and especially not if 300.000 conscripts do that ..
Thats actually nice...for Ukraine. Better kill untrained demoralized people with the last working equitment russia still has now then face them later when they are trained and could be more then cannon fodder. The guys that are getting a bit of training better hope, that they can get their hands on some winter clothes and pockets filled with tampons.
