The future was there.... now everything is splitting again because of nationalism - see china Russia and the Space station.

What the fuck is iter?
18/09/22
Nobody working on this project expects any usefull results in next 50 years. But money is good. Same shit with CERN.

ITER is amazing. Fusion enegry will change our civilization forever. I bet easy space travel will happen them, since there will be an overwhelming amoung of usable energy.

I have a lot of questions. are u just a visitor or are u working there?
18/09/22
vive la france!
18/09/22
Damn, the thing I’m working on <3
18/09/22
What's that?
18/09/22
I hope it works. Better yet I hope we can get it to work without helium3 that way it will become the awesome source of clean energy it was promised to be
18/09/22
oh i was thinking this was a dildo for your mother but kudos

When multiple countries work together, amazing things can happen. When 2 countries speaking same language sit at a table, war starts. Look at Russia and ukraine

the future is here? if what I see are women working manual labor, I am all for that. But when I see those women in white hard hards, the line has to be drawn.

It won't work. Their objective is to achieve Q factor of 5 (i.e. for every 1 unit of energy injected into the reactor, 5 come out). No one has even achieved a breakeven Q factor of 1 yet. The best result ever is 0.70 (i.e. overall loss of energy) at the National Ignition Facility. Compare that to a standard nuclear reactor, where the Q factor is over 100.

I’m officially hating you now ;)
18/09/22
make energy great again
18/09/22
The future of "where the fuck did we spend all that money?"
18/09/22
There are still white people in France?
