High overpressure (not sure if it's called the same in English, but it translates like that from Dutch) could mean one of your arteries is under pressure due to blockage or being narrow. 200+ is extreme hypertension and might result in serious issues. If you have a history with heart disease in your family i suggest you see a doctor, when you feel headaches, or unease/pain in the chest area, don't postpone it. Change your lifestyle asap, heart problems are the second bigest killer only to cancer in the US, it's a common mistake to think you're not going to be 'that guy'. It's not too late, good luck.

3 possibilities: 1) the machine is broken. 2) you operated the machine incorrectly. 3) you’re going to die soon.

Ex military medic in his 30s, i was at « normal »130-150/70-75 … with meds im around 115-120. For me it was family genetic, even with a good diet and sport. If you are under 40 and reach 150+ more than a few time without explanation. Test twice a day for 2 weeks straight same time same position, make a daylog of everytime, and go see a GP.

The top number is when your heart beats and the bottom number is in between beats. The fact that the bottom number is around normal and the top number is really high means your heart is contracting really hard when it beats. This type of hypertension is usually only seen in elderly people. Idk if you were exercising right before you took it or something but if that's at rest I'd definitely see a doctor as soon as possible. Anything 180 or over on the top is considered hypertensive crisis.

Stage 2 high blood pressure is 140/90 or higher. If you get a blood pressure reading of 180/110 or higher more than once, seek medical treatment right away. A reading this high is considered “hypertensive crisis.” Readings between 120/80 and 129/89 are considered pre-hypertension.

Your maximum is 220-age. This shouldn’t be reached. It will destroy your vascular blood system. You are 19. You posted pictures over 200. Please call 110. You are in a serious medical condition if you are sitting and you are rested. Really call an ambulance and tell them your systolic and diastolic values. This is a serious medical condition.

Not bad kid, but beat my 280 over 209 last year, luckily I went to the opticians intake as they referred me to an eye specialist which found a burst blood vessel, just before letting me go she got a nurse to do a BP test on me, straight to the hospital for a week, all recovered now like but it'll be medication for life
