Yes, the taxes are higher to finance all that. Yes, most people prefer the higher taxes over being left alone in these matters. Yes, I pay a lot more tax than others who benefit from this and I am fine with it, I can afford it and I'd rather pay in the large pot than see people end up broke or homeless over medical issues or childbirth. It seems like a no-brainer to most Europeans.

Well, when you are some small restaurant burger flipper maybe, but a middle class person can get everything in the USA, if you negotiate it: I have 25 days of paid vacation I got three scholarships, there are literal thousands upon thousands different programs available for almost everyone I know people who made money going to college in US, there is even app for that that check what are you eligible for My employer pays my very good health insurance (very few minor out of pocket expenses) My colleagues got paid maternity leave Similarly as I don't have to care about minimum wage, because I negotiated much better one

It's always fascinating to me, that if a woman pops up a human, rips open her bottom, get's pumped up full of medicine, is expected to go to work the next day :-D in the US :-D.

The US because there is freedom of speech unlike Germany? Because you have the right to bear arms to protect yourself? Because everyone understands English there?

Not Germany for sure. Lived in that place for a few years - and if you want to raise obedient drones who work all day for the priviledge of maybe 2 vacations a year and working until you're 70... Sure go ahead. But in the US if you're smart you can have it pretty nice... much much better than in germanistan

In Germany there is no Universal health care, it is mutualistic. I Pay 382euro monthly for that. Italy has Universal health care.

Not only you have minimum of 24 days paid vacation, in most companies it is around 30 days and you have the ability to chose either to get paid your overtime or get extra vacation time.
