The train station in Milan is one of the most gorgeous pieces of architecture I've ever seen, and I've visited a lot of Europe. It's also simultaneously disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. Pickpockets and scammers outnumber cops 20:1. It's crazy.

Amsterdam station isn’t so bad in all honesty. You’ll find street musicians and maybe some crazy lady screaming about Jesus. But not particularly many homeless people

Tokyo station is pretty nice. The Flinders station in Melbourne is however a different story.

The train stations in New Delhi are clean. Outside the station is a different story

Try Japan, public restrooms are cleaner than 99% of most cities
