So during the first 10 seconds the vehicle was actually stuck on the semi's bumper. I agree that after a certain point the semi driver could have done good and let him over but how are some people triggered about that? Wouldn't it trigger you more that the driver of the SUV created that situation in the first place?
Dude in the little truck didn’t want to be behind the semi/lorrie. I get it but dudes lane was ending and that person didn’t plan to over take correctly. Passing on the right is also illegal however many people sit and park in the left lane as well. I get that too BUT the small truck was in the wrong here
First, you're supposed to zipper in, every other car. Second, that SUV is kinda hanging in a blind spot. So he's doubly the asshole here and deserves whatever bad things happen.
Both idiots. But the one who chooses to pick a fight with a vehicle at least 20 times the weight of his own vehicle is just little bit more of an idiot.
Imagine the other scenario.
Where you just let an idiot goes away, and you keep doing the work like usual.
No stopping, no law suit, no accident, no police involvement, no weird stuff screwing your day.
I'd chose that than sacrificing my time to give an idiot a lesson. The idiot will screw themselves anyway. I wont use myself for that.
For all you morons talking about WhAt AbOuT zIpMeRgInG?
Pay attention. The uhaul merges in front of semi which means next vehicle is supposed to merge behind semi. And most people with functional brains would realize that maneuvering and adjusting course in a 2 ton vehicle is way easier than trying to force the 20 ton vehicle to yield
As a semi truck driver, it takes about 370 ft going about 60mph to slow down to a stop. But for a smaller car it’s about 180 ft.
Everyone says the semi should have slowed down, but that’s not right. It’s not easy, and it’s a single lane. the suv is 100% responsible the whole way through.
Mountain road. Looks like maybe I-70, which would mean possibly an 8% grade? If the truck is loaded and slows down it won’t get that speed back for another hundred kilometers.
Because you are supposed to merge in the last moment. The sign is there, so you get prepared, go in alternating order and leave space for trucks. If you merge on the first sign, you are just causing traffic jams.
Off course you have to merge at the end. But the little truck was way past the point of merging in safely. Instead of still trying to squeeze ahead, he should've braked and let the semi go ahead.
