If anyone cares I can give my two cents. From just the picture you can't tell what's going on. If the soldiers never held a gun before, then it's quite normal for the instructor to push the barrel in the same manner the guy does it in the photo. They try to simulate the recoil, so they know how to hold it properly before firing live rounds. So if the guns are properly checked and there is no live ammo on the site, it's not really a bad training method.

You can only imagine how bad it is, in reality.

General Vatnikov, Commander of the training staff: 'I feel safe at all times. I am fully aware that Russian weapons do not work anyway '.

You just can't put 'Russia' and 'safety standards' in the same sentence

Looks good to me.
01/10/22
The gun is set to safety, as in, they dont work anyways.

I might be wrong, but don't those magz look like 5.56 magz? Thought the russian scums use strictly 7.62x39 rounds.

Wow cool you posted a picture from yesterdays video
01/10/22
It's completely safe because they have no bullets

Looks like he is pushing on the muzzle in order to either make sure the rifle is properly shouldered, or to demonstrate the importance of doing so.

Vodka will fix it...
01/10/22
People complaining about this has never been in the military..
01/10/22
There is nothing wrong, they are aware they have guns without ammunition obviously

I don’t care for the theories that the officer is demonstrating recoil and whatever. You don’t ever place yourself in front of a barrel, no matter how safe you think the rifle is. Also, demonstrate recoil, wtf? They can’t afford shooting ranges so you can learn from the real deal?
