Noise making toys have a way of disappearing in my house. Almost as if someone discreetly destroys and disposes of the remains.

There is a very clear understanding between parents: don't give my kid any loud toys or I will give your kid loud toys! You wanna give my son a loud microphone? Hope your daughter has lots of fun with her new drum kit deluxe now!

Want to know how to deal with this? Play with her, grab the mic and sing something with her, get involved in what is happening. Yes, having considered friends is good, but you choose to be a parent, you cant prevent every annoying thing, so just take responsability and play with her. This is not a "every problem is an oportunity" BS, this is: be responsible speech. Are you annoyed and uncapabable of handling it, you did think that before having kids? TSLYP
