You know you live in a strange timeline when Stonetoss draws black kids without being the punchline to a rascist joke.

You know what is the saddest thing? It is not entirely wrong - the top picture, I mean... People hopelessly lack imagination that much - to the point many fail to identify or immerse into stories, if characters are not carbon copies of themselves. This is not new - look at cartoons from 80s and 90s - how many of them had obnoxious kid characters? Scrappy Doo is the most obvious example, but ton of shows had their own equivalents. Because obviously kids can't fucking identify with awesome transforming robots or space rabbit rebel. Nope, they need a proxy who is just like them. Look at role playing games for example. Most played (and overwhelmingly so) is a cookie cutter human fighter. Because that is the closest to what most players could be IRL. In game where you can be everyone you want - from ancient elf, through a quirky gnome, to a massive noble dragon-man. Nope, boring as fuck human bloke who whacks shit with a slab of metal there is.

I mean, yeah, that's true. But the reverse is also possible u know
