Depends on your level of ASD. But don't forget those are series, not real life. The good question is : Do someone (with ASD or not) need to achieve this much in real life ? No. Work in a field you are interested in, and your job will never eat you. That's the most important. Your job being saving lives or making canddles isn't as important as your mental health. At the end, in both cases you do your part in society.

I work with disabled people and I can assure you, I have seen some of the most hardworking people have disabilities or are handicapped in a certain way. It is mind blowing what you can achieve if you put your mind to it. That also goes for people with disabilities.

Yeah they can. I was told my nephew would be mute and he’d have almost no development or social skills. He’s a hell of a soccer player and he gives some of the best hugs in the world. He is verbal and is interested in engineering. If you’re looking for someone to tell you you can make It, you can. You’ll go as far as your ability will take you and the. You’ll be amazed that you go so much further. If your looking for someone to tell you your child’s life is going to be like a sitcom, you need to reconsider how you think about your child. Start thinking about how to support them wherever they are on the spectrum so that they can lead a full and rich life.
