Never arrived in India, just started working for a company that has a couple employed, almost all stereotypes were true.
Still trying to make them say memory card.
Fucking woke culture is taking over India. I visited India and tried to take a shit on the street, had a bunch of people yelling at me in their language. They must have been angry and yelling about cultural appropriation. Can’t escape the woke culture smh
Had the same feeling on the first 48 hours when I went to India
Got pretty awesome at the end
But yeah you probably should not go there if you're not interested in other cultures
I visited Rajasthan during Ganesha chaturthi (~ yearly worshipping of one of the more famous gods). Holy shit, indians now how to party! You could hear hardcore psytrance music from all corners 24/7 for a whole week.
Yes india is dirty, loud and you`ll see a lot of poverty (especialy in New Delhi), but this country has so much more to offer! Can only recommend you trying to get in touch with locals and travel around with simple methods. I only had 4 weeks and mainly saw the north, but some of my best travel memories are from this short trip
I went to India. The North East, not the touristic regions. I am never going back there again, that's all I care to say about that. Only decent people I met were in Gangtok Sikkim, which was more like Nepal in mentality than India (ate some actually good hamburgers there as well)
I arrived at Delhi airport, was picked up, car drove out onto the freeway, all horns were blasting constantly, and straight away, all traffic was slowed right down and having to go around a massive elephant standing in the middle of the freeway
