I tapped out after episode 3. I started watching house of the dragon around the same time and there is just no comparison. Rings of Power story is simplictic and dull.

Same, I'm not so hung up on the anti-woke drama it would prevent me from enjoying a good show, but it's just bland and boring, you cna see the millions spend in nearly every shot, but i's utterly soulless

Im not dead ass LOTR fan but I loved first trilogy. Hobbit was with shitty CGI and way too long for this story but still watchable. Rings of power is absolute shit. I couldn watch it more than 2 episodes. Completely boring and useless waste of money.

I think they try to destroy fanbase as a thing. It's spontanious group of people sharing simmilarities. They will propose several prepared collectivs to sort people like garbage and feed them with well prepared propaganda.

Also my honest opinion.. if seen all Episoden so far, the cgi is very good, i guess the name licences and cgi was where most of the money went. But yes, galadriel's character is unlikable, and u reasonable. The Story tries to make every scene epic with music even if nothing really happens, and since they try to make every scene special, nothing really is. Physik doesn't really make sense and most of the diaglogues try to Sound full of wisdom but actually fail pretty Bad.. i still think, that if this show wouldn't be a LotR series, but an original one, many people would like it. But for the big Name and the money our expectations are just way higher... and to the Editors.. i'm not a dwarf! I don't have night Vision, so ffs light up your places, i can't see shit with the dwarfes !!

A few episodes where slightly better. Like the 3rd. I had hopes it would get better. But no, stupid me. It did not need to be LOTR. It has no ties to LOTR. But its also just horrid Fantasy. Maybe some kudos to the SFX peeps. And some to the costume design. The working class peeps always do a decent job. While the higherups shit the bed.

Costumes became trash too. Like,the Witcher's nilfgaardian ballsack armor tier. Numenorian armor is basically manboobs over scale print shit. Just like you, I tried to give it a chance and ignore all the anti woke or downright racist comments, but boy... Does it suck. Durin and all the dwarves are fucking awesome though, Disa steals every scene she's in too.

Yup, There isn't any skill involved in the making of RoP. I can turn on any random regular old TV channel and look at moving pictures to just space out.
