I will always remember two radio talkshow hosts talk about that. They rewatched it and it sucked, they wondered how come because it was so good the first time they watched it to conclude after 10 minutes of discussing that people where not allowed to dislike it, because it would made them "racists" and it was extremly overhyped.
One of the best marvel movies? That’s pretty subjective
I did enjoyed it more than any Thor movie, but… I’m not into marvel’s “let’s say a punchline every 20 seconds” style anyways
Michael B. Jordan has no charisma as an actor, and failed to sell the part of the heavy in BP. They should have kept Andy Serkis as the big bad. And, of course, the rich African nation judging the U.S. for its inequity, all whilst being surrounded by the world's very worst squalor for hundreds of years. Cringe af. I did like Chadwick Boseman as the lead. I give it a C+. Worth one viewing.
I really liked it up till the ending. The cgi was ROOOOOOUGH and just ruined any tension in the big battle. But I did like seeing a Black hero like Miles Morales or War Machine
They try but they can’t just make a good black movie, maybe they lack the experience to make something big and good so they they push the agenda to make sure people buy the product since it’s not good enough to sell it itself and then they blame whoever doesn’t buy as racist. It’s sad
Can't understand why black people weren't upset by this movie. Depicting a black society so primitive that leadership was decided with violence, I mean wtf?
