Big freaking deal just because its from that island. My local tailor (75) can do it to jeans and everything as well. Its normal, well known technique. Not even that hard, just very time consuming. And it does put big strain on your eyesight.

It is cool but machine can make probably 50-500 shirts in same way they repair 1 of them. Or even create one manually from scratch would take less work and stress.
