I'd put the tag up even more. Hell i'd make that tag the main selling point of the show just to prove that they don't get to "choose" what they want represented. All or nothing.
it represents gay people because of their history. in the 70s and 80s, gays had to live in a hidden subcultur, because of intolerance. without the intolerance, Dahmer couldnt have slay these dudes that easy.
The Dahmer Series actually shows us why tolerance is important but the LGBTQ+ assholes do not know because of their easy lifes.
I really hope the people will soon learn that most L, G, & Bs dont want to have anything to do with the rainbowflaggers.
So LGBTQ people cannot be portrayed as villain? Are all LGBTQ people saint and good? It's so funny. But white straight people can be villain. I swear, when you give in to retards, you give them power. Stupidity shouldn't be tolerated.
Let me correct you: retarded oversensitive USA people, even people who were not LGBT, screeched about it as they screech about anything and Netflix was stupid enough to listen to those grown children.
Here in Brazil I didn't hear a single person condemning it, ON THE CONTRARY: We had a viral from 2-3 years ago which literally asked about it, for stories with gay criminals and villains, cause gay people are always either victims or "innocent" people in every story.
And when Dahmer came people literally shared that meme again saying "finally!".
Not a single soul is complaining here.
You know, the LGBTQtard also complained the exact same thing about a boss in Elden Ring named Mohgwyn. The boss is an incestuous gay child groomer. the LGBTQ people complained they didnt feel represented. Are there anyone in that community with IQ of more than 75?
After watching it I think the show is just as much about the stigma of being gay and/or black in America during that time, as it is about dahmer. It showed how he got away with stuff because the cops were uncomfortable dealing with "gay stuff", and how they didn't care to protect the black citizens in impoverished areas. In lack of a better phrasing due to my limited english, it also had a focus on the "gay subculture " during the time and place he was active
Therefore I have no problem with the tag LGBTQ tag being used, combined with other relevant tags, to describe what the show is about.
Well I mean the focus of the show is on him being a serial killer. Him being gay is subordinate to that. So if your classify a show as LGBTQ and the focus is on a guy that kills and eats people than it’s kind of an inappropriate application of that term. For comparison if you had a show labeled as “religious” about a pastor that kills and eats people than it would be an inappropriate application of the label in the same way.
