Get. A. Hobby. Personally like tweaking my commuter bike, thus I have something to talk about. I still haven't found a bike group in my area, but I at the very least can inform people on my current(and other) motorbikes.
Yes, stop fixating on making friends, find something that interests you, something you are actually passionate about. You will inevitably meet like-minded people.
If you need to have friends around to feel good that's a sign that there's something missing within you,and you're using people as a crutch. Fix this and find fulfilment in your own life, then when you make friends you can have more meaningful bonds
You have plenty toxic friend here. Who will trash you and your shitty posts always. For as long as you keep posting OP @yamer00o0
On other hand OP, not depending on your age, training combat sports such as Kick boxing, Judo, Brasilian Jiu Jitsu will bring new people into your real life.
Be someone you would want to be friends with and tell random people often eventually you'll find someone, hope it's before they give you a hug jacket or not if that's your thing too
Same here, you can try finding somethin you really like and what brings you forward in life. You are still very young so you can build something up and have a nice life in your 30s. Thats what keeps me up right now :D
Go do something outside. Start a hobby and stop being a bitch. You can't expect people to just come upto you if you give off hermit vibes. You need to be proactive about it.
Sounds to me like you didn't make such a bad choice. Usually friends come and go anyway.
Now the question is what do you for for work, hobbies? Where do you go that other people are too?
What are you passionate about?
