The paint did its job, the metal was protected, since the rust was only superficial. I hope they repaint it, cause that fresh metal ain't gonna last otherwise.

I wonder where does all the trash go? I understand a lot of sand mixed with paint, rust and whatnot. Do they just throw it away? Is it possible to reuse the sand?
