No matter what it is, Japan does it on another level…

So you overglorify the fact that you burn it with care
18/10/22
Preservation or finish? Looks a helluva lot more like a finish than a method of preservation.
18/10/22
Useless and inferior
18/10/22
I actually made this on wooden pallets with a blowtorch. The look is obviously nowhere near the Japanese stuff, but it works
18/10/22
That looks fire
18/10/22
Aren't these made into instruments? Don't remember the name but it's basically a long slab of wood with strings on it
18/10/22
Is this a ironing board?
18/10/22
the japanese HAVE TO fiddle with everything for a fucking loooong time. until this guy preserves one board, here in europe we would allready finish the second train full of wood and drink our "feierabendbier"

This needs a Japanese voiceover to be really awesome and satisfying.

Looks gay
18/10/22
Yeah we did something similar in wood craft class.
18/10/22
Nice
18/10/22
im pretty sure every civilization that used alot of wood in their construction used fire to preserve wood in some form, it does look alot nicer than the usual method of blowtorching it
18/10/22
I'm just happy there's no gay ass resin poured all over..
18/10/22
Depending if it's in or out varnish/oils or carbolinium has worked well enough for me.
